Our Leadership Team

Joe Munoz

Owner/Team Leader of Vision & Environment

Where has the time gone? I began my career at Enginetech in 1989 as an Inside Salesman, then went through a progression of jobs until becoming General Manager in 1998, and a co-owner of the biz in 2000 with my mentor and partner Fred Currey.

I pride myself on having really smart people around me – all very passionate about pleasing our customers. It’s what has permitted our company to weather the economic storms of the past few years – vibrant, robust, and aggressive, ready to reap even more rewards in the future.

I’ve been married for 23 years with two unbelievably great kids. I have three main passions outside of Enginetech – music, (I play bass in both a Beatles and an REM tribute band), muscle cars, and railroads. I am one incredibly lucky guy.

Sheri Munoz

I have been involved in different capacities at Enginetech, Inc. since 1998. I am currently the Team Leader of Sales and Human Resources and enjoy being part of a talented, creative team that is constantly striving to keep our company current and innovative.

I am married to a rock star and have two kids – favorite son, Joe and favorite daughter, Kendall.

I am an avid reader and love to travel. In my spare time, you can find me watching movies, listening to music or watching The Food Network (I am a certified foodie and coffee/wine/tea enthusiast!).

Anne Carroll

Team Leader of Finance

After receiving my accounting degree from Auburn University (War Eagle!) and my CPA, I began my career auditing financial statements and preparing tax returns for a CPA firm in Montgomery, AL. After way too many tax seasons, and two kids who demanded more time, I switched gears and went to work for a bank headquartered in Alabama.

My husband, John, was transferred to Dallas in 1999 and I continued to work in banking until I was given a wonderful opportunity to become part of the Enginetech team in May 2002. I am a huge sports fan, all kinds including NASCAR (go #99), and an avid runner.

David Francher

Team Leader of Purchasing

I joined the Enginetech Team in 1999. Enginetech is a remarkable place to work surrounded by enthusiastic people solving customer needs and we share a passion for the automobile.

My wife and I enjoy spending time together at home with all of our animals.

On the weekends I enjoy fishing, every chance I get, and classic cars. Both of these hobbies result in good stories among friends.

Mike Alsobrook

Team Leader of Process Improvement

I have worked for Enginetech, Inc. in various capacities for several years. Prior to joining the Enginetech team, I worked for Allied Signal as the quality manager, overseeing the Dallas and Houston R&O facilities.

I went to schools in Arkansas & Texas. I am also a veteran of the US Army, having spent my enlistment with the 101st Airborne Division. I live in Ft. Worth with my lovely wife and our dogs Lucy, Bodhi, and Juno.

I am an avid reader, spending a great deal of time looking for old books. My current restoration project is a 1967 Sunbeam Alpine.

Pete Munoz

Team Leader of Operations

I was born in Brooklyn, New York but moved to Carrollton, Texas in 1974 where I have since lived. I started my auto parts career by working alongside my brother Joe in a retail store from 1985 until 1989. I then decided to accept a job with Delta Air Lines where I remained for 15 years until downsizing forced me out and it was then that I accepted Joe’s offer to come work at Enginetech in 2004.

I began in Engineering by doing receiving inspections and working with our customers on technical and warranty issues before being asked to take over the product packaging department in 2006 where I was named Enginetech Teammate of the Year in 2007 for my efforts.

In 2012 I was once again asked to try something new and was named Global Sourcing Manager where I helped to locate new vendors and sources to increase our global footprint in the industry.

My most recent challenge is being named Team Leader of Operations where I am responsible for the daily operations of the distribution center as well as finding new ways to improve our efficiency and customer service.

I have been married since 1990 to my wife Kellie and blessed with a daughter and twin boys who keep us busy. I enjoy cars, music, books and traveling as well as a being a long time suffering fan of the Texas Rangers.
